Is there a place in Fresno where i can write a post dated check and recieve a cash advance?
I just need a place who either cashes personal checks or will give me a cash advace if i write them with a post dated check. There are places that do so for loans but more specifically i need a place that doesnt require a pay stub as proof of employement. I work and recieve my pay in cash. can anyone help me. please!?!?!

there should be a cash check service somewhere that will do it, try the yellow pages

no, checks today are cashed electronically so no matter what date you put on a check it will be cashed with 72 hours in most cases. Post dated checks do cut it with most businesses. try opening a bank accout and they will at least give you partial cash for your check and put the rest on hold for up to 5 business days

About Does Disneyland really check proof of residency at the gate
Does Disneyland really check proof of residency at the gate?
I am going to Disneyland in November and want to purchase tickets for the So Cal price. (I live in Fresno) A friend from work used to live in So Cal and still receives mail there, if I buy the tickets online and get them sent to that address and then pick them up, will they check proof of residency at the gate? Has anyone actually tried it?

no, if you type a socal zipcode on disneyland.com you get special discounts. You can cheat by doing that. Disneyland doesnt ask for proof of residency

There are no Southern California discounts on park admission currently (apart from Annual Passports) either online, at the ticket booths, or in local grocery stores. No, they don't check residency ID at the gate. However, online ticket purchases don't result in a physical ticket being mailed. They email a voucher which you must then present to collect your ticket and, if there were Southern California discounts being offered, you would have to present proof of residency at that time.

Im 21 years old and living in Fresno, California. I am going to a tech school for a diploma in network support technology. Right now Im at a hospital getting about 13.25 an hour working in the stockroom. 7 months from now i will be graduating and plan on transferring to the IT department. I was wondering what is an average pay for an IT at a hospital?

The hospitals where I live pay their IT people $16.99 to start, but the pay goes up to $26.99. That's for a Desktop Support Technician. That job requires six months experience. Desktop Support Analysts that has been at the hospital for two years can make $20 an hour to start with pay going up to $32 an hour. The hospitals in my area aren't hiring for anymore IT people right now due to the economy, good benefits, and the pay being more decent than everywhere else in town. Since you're in the door working there at the hospital in the stockroom, see if they have any Tech openings by going on their website and click employment listings then internal employee or something like that. When you're already there working at the hospital, it's very easy to move up to the IT Department when you're already in than trying to get in from outside. Good luck.

They used code names on the original Star Wars movies, at least the first two sequels. I believe one of them they called "Blue Harvest" and George Lucas claimed they were filmming a horror movie. Im 14 right now and im looking for a job.Where is a good place to work for teens just for about a couple hours after school.If you live in fresno,ca please name a couple of places that you know that hires young teens for a good price of working and how much an hour.

Your criteria: 1. Work for just a couple hours after school hours are done. 2. good money. Crystal, as anyone working will tell you; if you work for someone you don't make as much as if you work for yourself. Therefore, unless you want to just make minimum wage for your state, which being California may be more than other states like NC which only about $7 an hour, and fourteen year olds are not going to be someone's first pick; I suggest you think about this. I know it takes more effort...but you get what you pay for...and people will pay you what you are worth....and if you do something better than others, people will beat a path to YOUR door. There are tons of people that need help, but don't know how to find it or how to tell if someone is reliable and not going to rip them off. ESPECIALLY SENIORS! Do you know if you are really old, it REALLY hurts to try to clean, and is really DANGEROUS to get up on a ladder to chage lights. Cleaning agencies charge about $40 a visit, and spend about an hour there, to vacume, mop the floors, clean the bathroom, , change the bedding,do the laundry and stuff like that. If you do that, keep your eyes open for things that need to be done, like changing the lights, cleaning out the frig or oven, if you are good at cooking, maybe make a meal while you are there. Giving that extra, makes YOU the person that EVERYONE wants. Don't give any medications, you can remind people to take theirs, or read the lable for them. Pehaps offer to write out their important numbers on a peice of paper big enough for them to see, with nice dark, bold letters at least half an inch high.. Know who to call in case you come and they have fallen and can't get up. Old people are SOOOOO lonely. Part of being really good at helping the elderly, will be in letting them talk, or talking to them...if they want. Seniors are afraid they are going to have their stuff stollen, or be talked ugly to...disrespected...frightened...pushed around. You could easily get a few seniors that would love for you to come every few weeks to do work for them, by putting up a notice at a church close to where you live...or calling the senior center...or going to a few doctors offices and putting up a sign there...or putting an add in your newspaper...or even putting up a sign on your street. Depends on what you like doing. Walk dogs, yard work. Do you drive. Tons of seniors don't feel safe driving anymore. Not only that, they don't have the energy, or cars to go get groceries. You could put up a sign in a grocery store saying that you could do their shopping for them. Do a really good job for one, and word of mouth will soon get you another. Hint, find a way to convince them that you are honest, dependable, and hardworking and you will have more work than you can pick from...at a good price...on your hours...and it will still be a better deal for them than what they can get from "businesses". You could even offer to sit with elderly people, while the family goes out. Nursing assistants for this kind of work charge a lot, it's just a matter of being nice, helping, talking about what they want to talk about, doing a little pick up, clean up work. Pehaps taking them to the toilet...and perhaps if you get really adept, changing a diaper if it is soiled, and cleaning the person up. Make a good impression, by having the surroundings neat, and smelling sweet...don't forget the person, clean clothes, combed hair, shaven, fingernails done even. I want to work at NASA one day, am I taking the right steps?
I am currently in community college, I have my AA degree and I'm getting ready to transfer to Fresno State University, I want to major in Computer Engineering. I'm not a genius nor have I ever been but with a lot of studying I've gotten better at math and science, my grades are good. I'm not aiming to be an astronaut either because that would probably be near to impossible but I conform myself with working at NASA, I just want to know if this major will help me get a job there, thanks.

Don't limit your self to just one organization, since many people apply to NASA everyday (that question gets asked here daily). Find out at the source - http://nasajobs.nasa.gov/ Just remember, many apply, few are hired.

You would need a minimum of a masters. Don't count on NASA. It's on its last legs after being gutted by Obama. Pray for change.

Check out their job site to find out who they are hiring. You'd be more likely to get a job for a NASA contractor than NASA itself; NASA doesn't actually hire very many people. Most of the people who work there are on short term contracts of some sort.

I was afraid of scam so did my home work and it turn out she was a scam. thank goodness didn't send no money to africa. can some one let me know of a place in fresno, clovis, merced, selma that are selling tea cup yorkie? thank you

Well, you can't. For starters, there is no such thing as a 'teacup' Yorkie. Teacup is a marketing term used by unethical breeders purposely producing extremely small dogs with no regard for their health or the breed standard--in other words, something no REPUTABLE breeder would ever do. As you are unaware of this very basic fact, I would suggest that you take the time to do a little research and educate yourself on the breed BEFORE you try to buy one. It will only benefit you in the long run--how are you going to be able to determine that you are getting a quality dog and not being taken advantage of other wise? As far as budget, if your funds are limted, your best bet is going to be to check with shelters and rescues. Otherwise, you are going to be hard pressed to find one for such a little amount. Have you ever taken the time to consider what costs a breeder has to cover? Cost of stock, vet bills, medical testing, vaccinations, food, grooming and whelping supplies, registration fees, etc. It adds up quickly. Ask yourself, which of those would you expect a breeder to cut corners on for the sake of reducing their price?

I live there and it seems like a majority of the places where I want to work only hire people ages 16+. Are there any businesses hiring 15 year olds? I'm really smart and I can get a lot of letters of recommendations if that helps. And I speak some Spanish. Oh, and I can't swim, so I can't be a lifeguard. :D NO FAST FOOD RESTAURANTS!

go to your local library and ask the librarian to give u all the news papers fom 1997

they do, don't be fooled, it exsists but the gov't prolly doesnt want to release information unless there is a threat to the general populace if they don't like people wonder about someone famous and if they are going to jail or not. and if they don't there will be a riot

mother was murdered in fresno, ca. and lost paper work of year murdered i thought fresno would have an archive of peoples actual names but i guess not
