i live in fresno, california and i was wondering when and how i can start to work?
when can i start? what should i start with? do you have to have certain grades

you can legally start working at 14 but its almost impossible to get a job a 14. i think you have to have a 2.0 or 3.0 GPA to get a work permit. really the only place you can get hired under 17 is in fast food or at a cloths store in the mall. i got luck and got a job as a heavy equipment mechanic and a pilot truck driver and im only 17. the people that own the company don't know anything about child labor laws so i get to drive around all day and get paid for it. happy job hunting :)
