How should I go about finding an accounting job in Fresno, straight out of college?
I will be graduating from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a bachelors degree in accounting. I have also worked for a year and half with a local tax accountant for experience. I will be moving to Fresno in April or May. How should I go about finding a new career job in accounting while not living there currently?

In addition to looking for a fulltime job, find the names of the local temporary agencies that fill accounting jobs.

There's a Cal State school in Fresno. Perhaps you could ask if you could participate in their on-campus recruiting program? I think you should call Cal State Fresno and speak to someone about this. Tell them where you are going to school and that you plan to relocate to Fresno and ask their advice. Good luck.

About What's it like to work in the finance industry
What's it like to work in the finance industry?
I'm a 3.7 GPA senior at CSU Fresno. I'm studying finance, but I've slowly realized that I may not have what it takes to compete in the industry. I lack passion for the field, and I just don't see myself pursuing a career in finance. I just want to know anything and everything about working in finance. Is it competitive? Hours? Different types of jobs etc....

My fiancee is a hard worker with lots of experience and a good work ethic. He passed all the Pg&E tests, and took part in the Power Pathways program through PG&E and Graduated. If you know of any jobs related please let me know.

About How do I get paid to have a company advertise on my car? I drive 4000 miles a month for work
How do I get paid to have a company advertise on my car? I drive 4000 miles a month for work?
I live in the central valley california and I am an inspector for gas tanks and drive ALL over the middle of the state....from sacramento to fresno and bay area to the foothills. I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction to companies that pay for advertisements to be put on my car...I am a perfect candidate. I know they exist but the internet is full of scams. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm afraid this kind of easy money situation attracts a lot more candidates than available slots, most of the sites I just glanced at, I'm afraid will charge to provide a list of agencies that may not actually have current projects available. When I looked into these before most of the programs were closed, it probably takes them little time to fulfill a client's quota. These services universally require a GPS installed so they can report the billboard location at any time, I have seen some asking you to attend events, parking the car in a prime visible spot. Do your own research searching for Car wrap advertising, mobile billboards, you would be best to hook up with an advertising company, find them promoting to businesses, then look for a little link for the drivers to contact them through.
